Speaking with Deadline, as reported on Screen Rant, Andor creator Tony Gilroy explains how season 2 will be executing the time jumps which will eventually lead Andor into Rogue One’s events. Check out Gilroy’s full comment below:

It is curious as to how the show creators plan on distributing events leading up to Rogue One in the span of five years, which makes it all the more interesting since Gilroy also previously teased what’s to come in season 2.
Previously, the Andor showrunner revealed the first scene they filmed for season 2, which involved Kyle Soller’s Syril Karn. Although, Gilroy is quick to note that the order of filming does not equate to the sequence of the scenes in post-production. Check out his comment below:
