The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie – Who Will the Bride Be?
The Quintessential Quintuplets (or Go-Tōbun no Hanayome in Japanese) is an anime series that’s based on the manga of the same name by Negi Haruba. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020. Meanwhile, the anime’s first season was made by Tezuka Productions and aired from January to March 2019. The second season’s production was transferred to Bibury Animation Studios, and it aired from January to March 2021. The series’ story follows Futaro Uesugi, a gifted high school student who leads a difficult life as his father is saddled with debt. Fortunately, he finds a promising job as the private tutor of the rich Nakano family. Though this tutoring job isn’t as easy as he thought as he must teach identical quintuplet sisters, most of whom have no interest in studying. Despite their difficult relationship at first, it is revealed that Futaro will end up marrying one of the five sisters in the future.
