The 90-second-long trailer gave us a quick glimpse at the return of Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), Worf (Michael Dorn), and Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) as well as William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), who we both last saw during the first season of the series. However, Brent Spiner still remains to be absent in any of the footage. You can check the trailer here:
Based on the new footage, it looks like it’s going to be a wonderful season for fans who have been wanting to see the Next Generation crew reunite together. While we didn’t see the entire cast in one single frame yet, at least we were able to see a quick glimpse of each member in their individual moments. The new trailer also gave us our first look at the new starship the U.S.S. Titan, whose design is reminiscent of some of the iconic ships that we saw in the classic Star Trek television shows. This should ramp up the excitement for fans who have been looking forward to the season and been waiting for them to reunite the crew since it’s been around 20 years since we last saw them together and we can finally see them have a more proper send-off. Besides reuniting The Next Generation main cast, the upcoming season will also see the return of series regulars Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd. Terry Matalas serves as the showrunner for the season.
