Fisher fought really hard for the investigation to expose Whedon but for the longest time, Warner Bros. seemingly turned a blind eye to the whole controversy, at least the old regime. Now that Hamada is no longer in control of the DC Extended Universe, the 35-year-old actor feels a sense of vindication. Taking to Twitter, Fisher celebrated Hamada’s departure not only from DC Films but from the newly-formed Warner Bros. Discovery. He wrote: “Walter Hamada tried to protect his toxic and discriminatory colleagues. He failed. He tried to bury me (and the Justice League investigation) with lies in the trades. He failed. He is a product of old Hollywood cronyism. May we never experience his like again. Onward!
