Considering how the initial trailer for Avatar: Way of Water appeared to have kept the director’s promise of stunning CGI, all that’s left for the sequel is its premiere to take on the final verdict from critics, fans, and other viewers.

Seeing how long Cameron had invested into this sequel, in spite of the many delays it faced, and the budget they had to put into it, it would only be fair for him to expect its higher return. In fact, even one of the Avatar 2 stars, Stephen Lang, supports the sequel’s turnout by commenting how ‘absolutely gorgeous’ it was working on set. For now, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see once it hits theaters this year.
