Today, VIZ Media has announced that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime will be available to stream on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.
The news comes just a few days after the Bleach anime series was removed from Crunchyroll and Netflix on Sept. 30, and just a week away from the show’s premiere. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will debut on Oct. 11, 2022 on TV Tokyo in Japan, and it will run for four cours (quarter of a year), and with this latest announcement from VIZ Media, anime fans finally know where they will be able to stream the new anime. Past episodes of Bleach will likely be available to stream on those streaming services as well. Both Disney+ and Hulu are owned by The Walt Disney Company, so it looks like Disney confirmed a deal with Studio Pierrot and Tite Kubo to acquire exclusive streaming rights for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. If you’re wondering what Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is about, the story is a continuation of the Bleach anime series, and it follows Ichigo Kurosaki and his Soul Reaper companions’ war against Yhwach and his powerful Quincy army.
