Now, Letitia’s co-star Angela Bassett is breaking her silence regarding the issue. Speaking with Variety, the Queen Ramonda actress denied the controversial report first published by The Hollywood Reporter, noting that she never heard her co-star discuss the matter during filming.Marvel Studios executive Nate Moore says they didn’t know where the rumor came from, adding that he’d be among the first to know about it if it was actually true. He explains: “It’s not a question we asked of anybody, to be quite honest. She never talked about her views either way.
