It has been confirmed that Aubrey Plaza will be MCU bound in the upcoming spin-off series of Kathryn Hahn, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, as first reported by The Illuminerdi. However, her role remains undisclosed and is still under wraps. Aubrey Plaza will be joining Kathryn Hahn who plays the titular witch, Agatha Harkness, Joe Locke of Heartstopper who was recently confirmed to join the cast, and Emma Caufield who returns as Dottie following her debut in WandaVision. Aubrey Plaza is best known for her roles in Parks and Recreation, Safety Not Guaranteed, Life After Beth, and most recently, The White Lotus Season 2. Comic book adaptations are not new to her as she already starred in Legion and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Speculations surround Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch reprising her role in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and with Aubrey Plaza on board, it may be a reunion between the two who both starred in Ingrid Goes West. Details other than the cast are still kept under the shadows for Agatha: Coven of Chaos but filming will reportedly start on December 5, making it fitting for the additional cast members confirmed before the said date. Agatha Harkness first made her debut in WandaVision as the nosy neighbor of Wanda and Vision who turns out to be an age-old witch with vast knowledge on magic and spells. She revealed to Wanda who she really is and introduced to her the Darkhold. Agatha: Coven of Chaos is currently slated for release in Winter 2023.
